Helix Team Pilot:
Benedikt Bös
Get to know Benedikt better:

Benedikt Bös is an accomplished paramotor pilot from Germany and a respected figure in the international powered paragliding community. His journey into the air began in Austria, where he first encountered paragliders effortlessly stepping into flight during a hike — a moment that immediately captured his imagination. Determined to follow the same path, Benedikt earned his paragliding license in 2008, even before obtaining his driving license, and began flying paramotors in 2010.
Early on, an encounter with Swedish pilots at an international paramotor meeting in France sparked his passion for exploration. Inspired by stories of flying under the midnight sun, Benedikt knew it was time to take his flying beyond borders. Since then, paramotoring has taken him across much of Europe and to extraordinary locations worldwide, including flights over iconic landscapes such as the Dubai skyline. Along the way, he has built lasting friendships within the global paramotor community.
Benedikt is a Leader and Member of the German National Team and serves as the German Delegate for FAI CIMA, reflecting his deep involvement in shaping and representing the sport at an international level. He began competing in FAI Classic and Endurance competitions in 2016 and is known for his precise flying style, endurance capability, and tactical approach. While family commitments have led him to temporarily step back from active competition, his ambition remains strong — with future record attempts firmly on his horizon.
Beyond competition, Benedikt is a highly versatile pilot. His flying spans cross-country (XC) adventures, freestyle and low-level precision flying, aerial displays, photography, and ongoing record-chasing projects. Whether flying long morning XCs or pushing performance limits, he brings focus, discipline, and creativity to every flight.
Deeply rooted in the paramotor community, Benedikt is the owner of ParamotorGermany.Shop and collaborates closely with leading manufacturers including FlyProducts, Vittorazi, Ozone, BGD, and Helix. Outside of aviation, he works as an orthopaedic technician, designing and building prosthetics and orthotics — a profession that mirrors his passion for precision, engineering, and performance.
Benedikt has flown Helix propellers since 2010 on engines such as the Vittorazi Moster185 EFI, Moster185 Plus, and Atom80. He values Helix not only for their quality, performance, and reliability, but also for their commitment to innovation and genuine product development — supporting brands that actively push the sport forward rather than simply copying existing solutions.
Benedikt Bös’ long-standing dedication, technical expertise, and forward-thinking mindset make him a trusted voice in paramotoring and a valued Helix Team Pilot and friend.

2024 British Open & German National Paramotor Champion!
Congratulations, Benedikt, on taking the gold in both the British Open Paramotor Championship and the German National Championship!
Benedikt had this to say about the event:
“After [several] intense days of competition I made it on top of the German national and the British Open Paramotor championships podium.
In the British Open [there were] 43 foot-launch pilots and my strongest competitor was Romain Mobain who is also a Vittorazi racing team pilot. I had a very close battle with him but was able to keep on first position with a few points more.”
Our hat’s off to you!
