Strong Results and Valuable Lessons at the French Paramotor Championship 2026
The French Championship 2026 in Feurs marked an important milestone in Sandra’s flying career as her first season competing in the highly competitive French Elite category.
The championship week brought challenging and unstable weather conditions, testing pilots’ adaptability and focus throughout the event. Despite the difficulties, organizers successfully completed nine tasks, creating a demanding competition that rewarded consistency, precision, and sound decision-making.
As with any high-level competition, there were moments that highlighted the realities of the sport. During one task, Sandra witnessed a reserve parachute deployment directly in front of her—a powerful reminder of the importance of maintaining constant awareness and making quick, informed decisions in the air.
Competing at the Elite level leaves little room for error, but the experience reinforced Sandra’s commitment to continuous improvement and development as a pilot.
One of the standout achievements of the week was her performance in regulated navigation, which she considers the strongest regulated navigation flight of her career to date. Combined with several strong economy-flight performances, the results reflected the extensive preparation and training invested over recent months.
The competition also provided valuable insight into areas for future growth. Precision landing remains a key focus moving forward, with the championship helping identify clear opportunities for improvement.
Sandra finished the event with impressive results:
6th Overall – French Elite Championship
8th Overall – Open Classification
2nd Female Elite
Beyond the rankings, however, one of her proudest achievements was maintaining a positive and determined mindset throughout the week. Despite difficult conditions and the absence of her team, she remained focused and committed from start to finish.
The equipment package also performed exceptionally well. Flying an Ozone Viper 6 wing paired with a Vittorazi Atom engine provided a highly effective combination throughout the championship once properly tuned and optimized.
Sandra would also like to extend special thanks to Claude Monfort of Vittorazi Service Center for his invaluable support and assistance.
Leaving Feurs, Sandra takes home more than just strong results. The competition provided valuable experience, increased confidence, useful performance data, clearly defined goals for improvement, and renewed motivation for the remainder of the season.
Balancing a full-time job, family life, training, and competition is no small challenge, and the support of sponsors continues to play a vital role in making this journey possible.
With the French Championship now complete, Sandra looks ahead to the rest of the season with momentum, determination, and a clear path forward.
