2024 Helix Propellers Photo Contest
The results are in!
We asked and you delivered. A big thanks to everyone who submitted photos to the 2024 Helix Super Ultimate Photo Contest! It was an absolute onslaught. A battle of epic proportions. Our panel of esteemed judges poured over your submissions for days. There were heated arguments. Fights broke out over who submitted the best photo. One panelist dropped out and moved to Canada.
In the end, we cast our votes and a winner was chosen.
Congragulations to Dan Toborowski
Dan is a seasoned paramotor pilot and avid photographer hailing from Arizona, USA. His image captures both the love we all feel for a fine tuned machine…. and the Helix logo (which we also appreciated).
Dan will be receiving $300 towards a new propeller, a limited edition Helix T-shirt, and most importantly, stickers.
Dan had this to say about his photo:
“I’m a USA, Arizona based PPG pilot since 2017. I love combining my hobby of photography/video with paramotoring. This image was taken during a dry lakebed fly-in event that I organize every year near Willcox, AZ. The bright lights in the sky are a full moon and the planet Venus just above and to the left of the moon. The unit is a Yooda Yak 185.”

2024 Helix Carbon GmbH Photo Contest – Official Rules and Details
Contest Period:
The Helix Carbon GmbH Photo Contest (“Contest”) begins immediately and ends at 23:59 CET on December 31, 2024. Submissions received after this time will not be considered.
Eligibility:
- The Contest is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry, worldwide.
- Employees / sponsored pilots / dealers / distributors and other partners of Helix Carbon GmbH, their immediate family members, and individuals residing in the same household are not eligible to participate. (Looking at you, Kyle.)
How to Enter:
- Submit your photo featuring Helix Carbon GmbH propellers in use (e.g., on paramotors, gyrocopters, trikes, airplanes, etc) via the above form.
- Include the photo’s EXIF data or other proof of authorship with your submission.
- Participants may submit multiple photos; however, each photo must be a unique entry.
Judging and Prizes:
- Photos will be judged by the team at Helix Carbon GmbH based on creativity, quality, and relevance to the Contest theme. Decisions are final.
- Prizes:
- Grand Prize: €300 gift card and a Helix T-shirt.
- Runner-Up Prizes: Five participants will each receive a Helix T-shirt.
- Everyone who enters will receive a Helix sticker (hooray!)
- Winners will be notified via email by January 31, 2025.
Usage of Submitted Materials:
- By entering the Contest, participants grant Helix Carbon GmbH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the submitted photos for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes across any media (online and offline).
- Participants retain ownership of their submitted photos.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
- By submitting an entry, participants represent and warrant that:
- They are the sole creator or have the necessary permissions from all parties involved to submit the photo.
- The submission does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
- All identifiable individuals featured in the photos have granted consent for the use of their likeness.
- Helix Carbon GmbH reserves the right to reject or disqualify submissions that are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or non-compliant with Contest rules.
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Helix Carbon GmbH from any claims arising out of their submissions.
Privacy:
Helix Carbon GmbH will collect personal information (e.g., name, email) for the purpose of administering the Contest. Personal information will not be shared or sold to third parties.
Legal Compliance:
- The Contest is governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved in German courts.
- Helix Carbon GmbH reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest if circumstances beyond its control arise.
