Today marked another victory for the mighty 5-blade H42A VTL “Talon” propeller. We were excited to welcome Semih from ISS Aviation, and to once again prove the H42A in a series of flight and static tests with the Rotax 916is powered Aerospool WT9 Dynamic NG.

Not only did the H42A outperform the OEM propeller in speed tests, but in static pull tests, the H42A provided 25% more power with a sustained 3100 newtons. This is a game changer for light towing aircraft like the WT9, and means getting in the air that much faster when towing a sailplane.
