The Talon is design with a forward angled blade tip, allowing it to slice through the air with minimal vortex interaction and aerodynamic noise.
Aerodynamic Curvature
Rather than a typical straight blade, the Talon features a curved blade, matching the incoming airflow, effectively increasing efficiency by reducing parasitic drag.
Rigid Construction
In order to achieve the unique geometry of the Talon propeller, we had to build it tough. We developed proprietary construction techniques to increase rigidity and reduce vibration.

The VTL “Talon” provides and optimal combination of efficient, high-speed cruising, and powerful take-off performance.
Mounted to the Rotax 916is powered Aerospool WT9 Dynamic NG, the Talon provided 25% more pulling power than the OEM propeller.
Like nature intended: the 5-bladed VTL Talon was right at home on the JMB VL3 EVO- providing endless power while saving significant weight over the OEM propeller.
The 3-bladed H42A VTL provided ample power and a smooth flight profile on the Rotax 912uls powered TL Sirius.

We tried to break it. VTL “Talon” survived extreme stress and endurance testing on our Rotax 915is testbench.
Pioneer Germany was so impressed with the 3-blade H62A VTL that they are adopting it as the new standard for the P400.
