Helix Team Pilot:

Sandra Moreels

Sandra Moreels is a passionate and competitive paramotor pilot based in Normandy, France. In just a few years, she has established herself as one of the leading figures in French and international paramotor competition, combining high-level athletic performance with a full-time professional career as an investment manager at a French public financial institution. She is also a mother of two and a dedicated athlete, constantly striving to refine her skills while sharing her journey with the wider paramotor community.

Sandra discovered paramotoring in 2021, when her partner surprised her with a paramotor license as a Christmas gift. From her very first flight, she was hooked. What began as a new adventure quickly evolved into a deep commitment to training, progression, and competition. Curious to test herself, she entered her first competition in March 2022- and immediately found her place in the competitive environment, drawn by the challenge, camaraderie, and constant learning it offered.

Her rapid progression led to national and international success. After building a strong foundation as a navigator and co-pilot- including a French National Championship title in 2023- Sandra transitioned to solo foot-launch competition, where she achieved outstanding results. She is a two-time Paramotor Team World Champion (Endurance World 2024 and Classical World 2025), 1st female pilot at the Classical World Championship 2025 (11th overall), and a consistent podium finisher at national and international events. In 2024 and 2025, she was selected for the French National Paramotor Team, and in 2026, classical paramotoring will be officially recognized as a high-level sport in France, with Sandra included in the national collectif national list.

Beyond competition, Sandra is deeply involved in the development and promotion of the sport. She serves as Secretary of the Normandy Regional ULM Committee, actively supports outreach initiatives, and regularly participates in events introducing paramotoring and ultralight aviation to young students and the general public. She also shares her flying, competition insights, and progression through social media and media appearances, aiming to make paramotoring more visible, accessible, and inspiring- especially for women, who currently represent only a small percentage of pilots in France.

Sandra is a member of the Vittorazi Racing Team and a team pilot for Ozone Paramotor France and Fly Products. She flies a Vittorazi Atom 80 and has used Helix propellers since her very first Fly Products frame. Valued for their balance, reliability, and build quality, Helix propellers have given her confidence in both training and competition.

In 2024, Sandra also had the honor of carrying the Olympic torch in Normandy, a symbolic milestone reflecting her commitment, discipline, and influence both within and beyond the paramotor world.
